After a long absence from the Twin Cities, former music director and Grammy® nominee Eiji Oue will return to conduct the Musicians of the Minnesota Orchestra in an all-Tchaikovsky spectacular. Maestro Oue and the Musicians will open the program with holiday favorites from the immortal ballet, The Nutcracker. Sensational pianist, Jon Kimura Parker, a frequent visitor and guest soloist in the Twin Cities, will join the program for a performance of the iconic Piano Concerto No. 1. The immensely popular Symphony No. 4 concludes with its calls of Fate and Destiny, transporting the listener from troubled night into jubilant daylight in this blazing showcase for Eiji Oue and the Musicians of the Minnesota Orchestra.
